Annual General Meeting

All are welcome to attend a short meeting for the AGM of the Early Music Society of Nova Scotia. We will review the year, and select a new board of directors for the upcoming 2024-2025 year.

A note from the current board:

The board is elected by the members of the society, typically at the AGM. Although new members of the board can now be added over the course of the year, it is important that a strong and representative board be constituted at the AGM.

We welcome new board members.  Prior to the AGM, please think of potential board members and consider nominating them from the floor at the AGM.

Board members’ duties: The board meets approximately monthly from September through May, with summer meetings as needed. The board addresses policy issues, financial stewardship, and implements programming. Its responsibility is to advance the interests of the Society.
