CANCELLED: Making the Walls Sing – Polychoral music in the Venetian tradition: reprise

On Sunday, Sept 22, Flemish early music specialist Thomas Baeté, reprises his popular workshop of polychoral music in St. Geroge’s Round Church. Music will be made available in advance, and there will be rehearsal sessions by Jennifer Publicover on the previous day.More infromation about registration coming soon.

Based in Belgium, where he teaches in Brussels and Leuven, Thomas Baeté plays the viola da gamba and the medieval fiddle, which he also uses to accompany his singing. His musical activities have brought him to over 20 European countries, as well as Morocco, Peru, Colombia, the USA, Canada, Georgia and Japan. He founded the ensemble ClubMediéval, which supports his passion for polyphony of the 14th century, while his project Transports Publics highlights music of the 17th century.
